Collarette dahlias
A single row of flat or slightly cupped ray florets with an inner collar of petaloids, half to two thirds the ray length, around an open center. Pollinator favorites.
Profiled collarette varieties
Appleblossom
Light yellow shifting to pale pink, with petals Triple Wren describes as small watercolor paintings.
Coseytown Honey Pot
Color not currently published by the farm, which lists only the seed mix page. The name suggests honey-gold tones, but we have no sourced description to confirm it.
Pooh
Bright orange outer petals outlined and tipped in yellow, around a yellow collar and a yellow central disc. Swan Island files the color as orange; British sellers read the same flower as red and yellow, and Heirloom Soul as bright yellow and red. The yellow tipping varies bloom to bloom, which is most of why the descriptions differ.
