The attribution is unusually well corroborated for a variety this size, because the National Dahlia Society picture archive in the United Kingdom independently records it as Kennedy L., USA, 2008, photographed at the Washington State Show. That a British archive and American sellers agree on breeder and year is a stronger footing than most varieties in this catalog get. The name misleads: wedding suggests something pale, and this is one of the brightest pinks in the trade.

Wyoming Wedding is a bright pink informal decorative grown for output, and the growers who carry it say so in unusually plain terms. Heirloom Soul reports it shoots up more blooms than most other dahlias in their field and that they can count on it all season; the Cincinnati Dahlia Society describes vigorous plants producing flowers on long strong stems. Blooms run 4 to 6 inches with wavy petals that give them an almost fluffy look. Height is agreed at about 4.5 feet by Tree House Blooms and Misty Hollow, with Heirloom Soul at 60 inches, so stake it and pinch at 12 inches.
